When evaluating an advertisement, many factors must be taken into account. What magazines are the advertisements found in? Do they have a certain identifiable demographic. What magazines are the advertisements not found in? Do the changing themes correlate with the target audience of the magazines? Are there any cultural assumptions or certain association of race, class, or gender made in the advertisements? The advertisements that I have chosen to evaluate contain many gender based assumption.

I am very pleased with the Auto Tech Clinic located on Michigan Avenue at Telegraph Road in Dearborn, Michigan. They have supplied me with great service time and time again. Prior to this visit, I had only had oil changes and brakes done at this shop and was always pleased. In fact, last year I took my car in for brakes, which I thought I needed. The Auto Tech technician, on that day, came out to tell me I didn't need brakes at that time. He could have easily sold me the brakes, my car had 60,000 miles on it and the original brakes were still on it. I would have never questioned the repair, but he chose to be honest, and I got another 12,000 miles on those brakes before I returned to have them replaced. But I don't have any illusions. There is no corrosion to be seen on my Chevy Truck Deal now but nature is working and rust will come back. Old truck rust always comes back. It may be already developing in unseen places like under the cab, inside the fenders, under the cargo bed and so on. I can't do anything about that but I can keep my eyes open and when I see a little bubble under the paint I can repair it immediately or wait another couple of years.

Also during the test drive, go up hills and in curves see if it has enough power in the motor to get you around. Don't turn on the radio; you need it to be quiet to see if there are any strange noises from the motor. Make sure the car handles well and does not need to be lined up. Make sure any dealer oral promises are written down and signed for so they have to back up their promises.

Accessory # 4 - Leveling Kits. These are very popular accessories for Chevy owners. Generally they are installed to level the truck in the front to help the appearance of the wheels look the same in all the wheel wells. Just a note on front bumpers guys they can be adjusted forward to help accommodate a slightly lager tire. The biggest downfall with a buy chevy truck options is the small wheel wells and this limits tire size and this si where the bumper adjustment and leveling kit will help.

If you have to pull a trailer behind your truck you will notice that your gas mileage decreases. Usually a trailer is taller than the truck, and this blocks the wind, obviously. There are spoilers that you can install on the cab of your truck to help the wind go over the trailer and therefore it won't put as much of a pull on the truck's engine.

To sum this up, do some homework in advance on any dealer, then check out the car you want. A little investigating on the vehicle will save you money and time in the long run.
