I was training some new Customer Service Representatives the other day, a task I take very seriously, and came across some customer service atrocities I thought I would share. If you recognize some of the bad behavior I list below, then you should consider making some changes.

This advertisement goes against the grain. Generally, women aren't associated with doing heavy duty yard work or using large tools. But this advertisement implies that women do use these tools, and their knowledge of the kitchen and of cutting butter can be applied to the chores in the backyard. Featuring a woman in this advertisement is wise since the magazines Chevy Truck Deal readership is almost entirely women. The women who read this magazine attempt to accomplish tasks by themselves and possess a fondness for gardening and landscaping.

If painting a medium sized car a totally different color and you're doing door jambs, under the hood, trunk etc... 3 quarts will be enough. It will give you 1.5 gallons of paint to spray with. That's a lot.

My brother was nine years old when this happened. People say children have imaginations and I would accept this as such were it not so detailed. This truck was never mentioned because in my grandma's mind it was practically a forgotten memory. No pictures of the truck existed. I have viewed every photo my grandmother owns many times and I have never seen an old fashioned chevy truck outline in any of the photos. How could my brother have known about that truck when it was a part of his grandfather's life twenty-five years before he was born?

We get a nice but piss yellow 32 Ford powered by a 327, a 58 Chevy Bel Air also powered by a 327, a girl in a 56 T-bird and a Black 55 Chevy (actually the same one from Two Lane Blacktop). This movie really is all about cars, not coming of age. The movie ends with a great showdown between the 32 Ford and the 55 Chevy!
