Chevrolet automobiles seem to have been around for as long as cars have. This is true in more ways than one. There are still plenty of people driving vintage models that perhaps your grandfather or great grandfather drove so many years ago. These are now considered to be collector's items by many car enthusiasts. They buy old Chevy trucks and then lovingly restore them to their previous glory. By the time they are finished, you would never know that they had rolled off the manufacturer's line so many decades ago.

If you decide on buying the 1950 Buy Chevy Truck, you must be mentally prepared to take up the challenge of restoring it. This is one of the models that is conducive to restoration. It is worth consulting professionals or people, who have already restored vintage autos. Joining the local car club as a member can provide you an opportunity to meet people who are interested in this hobby. They can guide you in the restoration process. You can find used parts of this model online to complete the vintage restoration project.

Extreme accessory #2 - AEM Brute force air intakes. I know every one is always talking K&N when it comes to filters and intakes, however the AEM Brute force intake is what I recommend hands down. The AEM Brute force is top of the line allowing the most airflow you will find. Throw on a throttle body spacer and you have really made some Chevy Truck Deal improvements to your stock system.

Two-Lane Blacktop (1971) - Who needs plots? This movie doesn't! All we need is a Driver, a Mechanic, a Girl, a guy with a GTO, a 55 Chevy gasser and a few random hitch hikers to make a great car movie! This movie is all about cars and nothing else! You get to see and hear a nice 55 Chevy almost every scene as well as a GTO. The movie opens with a Drag Race and ends with one!

My brother was nine years old when this happened. People say children have imaginations and I would accept this as such were it not so detailed. This truck was never mentioned because in my grandma's mind it was practically a forgotten memory. No pictures of the truck existed. I have viewed every photo my grandmother owns many times and I have never seen an old fashioned chevy truck year by year in any of the photos. How could my brother have known about that truck when it was a part of his grandfather's life twenty-five years before he was born?

If painting a car the same color ( maybe you have a few bodywork primer areas) no biggie, Most times, 2-2.5 quarts will be plenty. As you may have already learned on this site, basecoat is always mixed to a 1/1 ratio. So if you have 2 quarts of base, it will make a gallon of sprayable material.
