When evaluating an advertisement, many factors must be taken into account. What magazines are the advertisements found in? Do they have a certain identifiable demographic. What magazines are the advertisements not found in? Do the changing themes correlate with the target audience of the magazines? Are there any cultural assumptions or certain association of race, class, or gender made in the advertisements? The advertisements that I have chosen to evaluate contain many gender based assumption.

I am very pleased with the Auto Tech Clinic located on Michigan Avenue at Telegraph Road in Dearborn, Michigan. They have supplied me with great service time and time again. Prior to this visit, I had only had oil changes and brakes done at this shop and was always pleased. In fact, last year I took my car in for brakes, which I thought I needed. The Auto Tech technician, on that day, came out to tell me I didn't need brakes at that time. He could have easily sold me the brakes, my car had 60,000 miles on it and the original brakes were still on it. I would have never questioned the repair, but he chose to be honest, and I got another 12,000 miles on those brakes before I returned to have them replaced. Auto Tech gave me a great price on that Buy Chevy Truck brake job too.

Very dumb move. When you're Chevy Truck Deal with another culture you're not familiar with, the safest thing to do is be ultra-conservative especially where the women are concerned. In many cultures, you should not speak directly to the woman or make eye contact or touch her in any way.

Two-Lane Blacktop (1971) - Who needs plots? This movie doesn't! All we need is a Driver, a Mechanic, a Girl, a guy with a GTO, a 55 Chevy gasser and a few random hitch hikers to make a great car movie! This movie is all about cars and nothing else! You get to see and hear a nice 55 Chevy almost every scene as well as a GTO. The movie opens with a Drag Race and ends with one!

The Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol said that their officer was dispatched to FM 1836 near FM 1895 just southeast of Kaufman County at 7:22 a.m. for a two vehicle collision between a chevy truck dealers and a Dodge.

This advertisement features a man and a woman playing football. The man is lifting the woman into the air. Both are laughing and full of excitement. The scene takes place in an open field, but the background is hazy to reduce its importance. Both the man and the woman are dirty from the football they have been playing. The woman's armpit is located within inches of the man's face.

American Graffiti (1973) - Was this really a surprise to any of you? Nothing but classic cars, cruising, great music, humor, a few races and lots of fun! We get a nice but piss yellow 32 Ford powered by a 327, a 58 Chevy Bel Air also powered by a 327, a girl in a 56 T-bird and a Black 55 Chevy (actually the same one from Two Lane Blacktop). This movie really is all about cars, not coming of age. The movie ends with a great showdown between the 32 Ford and the 55 Chevy!
